Gloss BOPP Film

Glossy film made of Bioriented Polypropylene (BOPP). With extrusion-coated EVA on one side of the film, allowing the adherence to the support to be laminated through heat. BOPP film is commonly used for applications that require moisture resistance, optical clarity and high tensile strength such as: Food & Beverage Packaging. Medical Packaging. Personal Care Product Packaging.

A material with reflectance in between these two extremes is called glossy or shiny. The gloss is responsible for the lustrous appearance of plastic films. The fraction of the light intensity that neither enters the material nor follows the pass of mirror reflection is dispersed or scattered by diffraction.
